Departmental Activities

The department takes a holistic approach towards student development which provides the platform for extracurricular activities. The First Year Engineering Student Association (FESA) provides the platform for extracurricular activities, opportunities to present talent in the various fields, enhance the soft skill and cultivate team spirit for advancement and overall development. Under the banner of FESA the students are exposed to organizing, planning, and executing activities that bring about a sense of responsibility and allow them to practice their skills to face the industry. Some of the activities organized by FESA include –

  • ♦ Quiz competition to improvise knowledge of basic science concepts, technology updates and logical aptitude of the students.
  • ♦ Eminent scholars from industries and academics are invited to share their knowledge and perceptions.
  • ♦ Industrial visit aims to provide the students an insight regarding internal working of companies. The objective of industrial visit is to correlate the class room teaching with actual practices in the industries.
