DHRUVA 2021-22

The first day of Dhruva 2023 began on March 28 with an art exhibition where paintings and other works of art were displayed. A contest was held to highlight the students’ artistic abilities. The main attraction of Day 1 was the traditional day, which included performances like Granth Dindi, lezim, and some spiritual songs. All faculty members and students dressed traditionally for this function. A singing competition, Dwani followed it. The performers showcased a variety of songs, from classical to soul music. For many performances, supported music was played by students. Dr. Ankita Dhone, Prof. Mahesh Waghmare, and Mr. Satishchandra Hatagale were the competition judges. Click here for more Details.

DHRUVA 2021-22

Dhruva 2022 started on April 11th as DAY-1, evening at 7:00 with a very warm event of Open mic, termed as – MEHFIL this time with all the students gathering at Amphitheatre and presenting their poetry, standups, songs and even faculty presented with fillers to cherish this forever. DHRUVA TEAM

We had a core committee for DHRUVA as well as a student committee. It includes the Principal, Registrar, Faculty Co-ordinators and Student Co-Ordinators. For each and every event there was a faculty co-ordinator and a student Co-ordinator. All the heads of the department provide support to staff co-ordinators to organize and conduct various events. A special thanks to all the maintenance department for helping in making this a successful event.

The Annual Techno-Cultural fest at Hope Foundation’s International Institute of Information Technology (I²IT), was held on campus on 14th, 17th and 18th of February 2020. The theme for this year was ‘Pop – Culture’. The campus was decorated beautifully by the art committee. Various events were held throughout the campus using all of its architectural grandeur.

Day 1 began with Crew day. Not only students but even the faculty were dressed up accordingly. The day began with art exhibition followed with games as ‘Player Unknowns Battle Ground’, ‘Snap Rush’, ‘Treasure Hunt’ and ending the day with a novel ‘Yeh Shaam Mastani – Open Mic’. Students and even faculty revealed their hidden talents lettering Shayaris, Stand ups, Poems etc. For the very first time such an event was held in I²IT.

Day 2 started with traditional day and events like ‘Dhwani’ and followed with ‘Flash Mob’, ’FIFA’, ’Call of Duty’, ‘Band-ish’. ‘Band-ish’ being band wars, different bands from various colleges and our college competed for the winning title. The winner was declared by a professional Band Zariya – The Band.

Despite having enjoyed into late night all students were raring to go for DHRUVA day 3 which started with ‘Hunger Games’, ‘Lesson on Origami’, ’Tecasino’, ‘Counter strike’, ‘IPL auction’, ‘Tap-your-feet’, ‘Fashion Show’. The Big surprise for everyone this year was the Ramp walk by I2IT faculty accompanied by our beloved President Aruna Katara maám.  Later the dance floor was open till wee hours.

Team I²IT Enjoy the 2-day Annual Fest

The Annual Techno-cultural Fest at International Institute of Information Technology, (I²IT) was held on campus on 18th and 19th March. The theme for this year’s event was “Gaming” and the campus was decorated on the lines of various “Online Games”.

Day 1 began with events like ‘Traditional Day’, ‘Aroh – the singing competition’, ‘Champs Feet’, ‘MazeRunner’ and ‘SnapRush’. The “Josh” picked up by evening and that’s when the high-energy events like ‘War of Bands’ ‘ProShow’ and ‘Feet on Fire’ were held.

Despite having enjoyed late into the night, all students were raring to go for Dhruva Day 2 which began with events that brought the students and faculty members together. The day began with ‘Man Vs Food’ followed by a mock of ‘IPL Auction’.  Towards noon, Technical Events like ‘Copa Robotica’ and ‘Technoventure’ and fun games like ‘Treasure Hunt’ and ‘Streamers’ were hosted indoors.  Once again, the evening brought the students to the open ground where the dance competition continued.  Bankim Patel (a young artiste) performed for the students.  This was followed by the most popular ‘Fashion Show’ and finally the dance floor was open until the wee hours of the morning.

INTRODUCTION

Cultural activities are an integral part of students’ life. Cultural activities are helpful to students by many ways. It teaches students event management skills and also supports for their overall development. Students not only look towards cultural event as an enjoyment but also acquire new skills supportive for their personality development.  I²IT provides them this platform by organizing DHRUVA every year to showcase their hidden talent and versatile skills. DHRUVA includes cultural activities as well as technical events. Institute provides financial as well as academic support for students to motivate them to participate in the intercollegiate events.

OBJECTIVES OF DHRUVA:

  1. The main objective of DHRUVA is to provide platform for students to showcase their talent.
  2. To provide platform for budding artists.
  3. To provide support for overall personality development of students.
  4. To develop executive skills of students.
  5. To develop technical skills of students.

DHRUVA 2016-17

INTRODUCTION

I²IT provides students a stage where they show technical and extracurricular skills.The DHRUVA event is completely managed by students under the supervision of staff members. There are a wide range of events in DHRUVA from dance, music, arts, and fun games in which students from all four years participate enthusiastically. This event helps students to showcase their talent, skills and leadership skills. Students had a great time in organizing and participating on all the events.

OBJECTIVES OF DHRUVA:

  1. Provide stage to students to show extracurricular skills.
  2. To provide platform for growingdancers, singers.
  3. To develop managerial skills.
  4. To motivate students for participation in different activities.
  5. To develop technical skills of students.

DHRUVA 2015-16

INTRODUCTION

Along with curricular practices, I2IT also motivates students to participate in extracurricular activities. Institute supports for complete personality development of students by providing them stage to show technical and cultural skills. To achieve this goal I2IT conducts DHRUVA which includes technical and cultural activities. These events are completely planned and conducted by students with the support of staff coordinators.

OBJECTIVES OF DHRUVA:

  1. To develop skills to work in a team.
  2. To develop public speaking skills
  3. To motivate for participation in different activities

DHRUVA TEAM:
