Be a Buddy, Not a Bully | I²IT Observes Anti-Ragging Week

At I²IT, creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus is a collective responsibility. The National #AntiRagging Day and Week were observed across the campus from 12 to 18 August 2026, with students and faculty coming together to reinforce the message of “Be a #Buddy, Not a #Bully.”

The week brought together a range of engaging awareness activities, including #selfie corners, poster-making competitions, #quizzes, #reel competitions, and #slogan competitions, giving students creative platforms to express their thoughts on building a ragging-free campus. The campus was filled with powerful messages promoting #respect, #empathy, #friendship, #dignity, #support, and #responsible #behaviour.

Through these activities, I²IT students reinforced an important message: ragging has no place in a campus that believes in mutual respect and meaningful relationships. Senior students are #mentors and #role models, and every student deserves an environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive without fear or humiliation.

The Anti-Ragging Week was a meaningful reminder that we don’t just study together—we grow together. Let us continue to choose kindness, speak up against ragging, support one another, and build a #campus culture where respect is the norm and every student feels valued.

Say NO to Ragging. Say YES to Respect.

Be a Buddy, Not a Bully.
