Nasha Mukt Bharat Pakhwada

As part of the nationwide campaign for a drug-free India, I2IT observed the Nasha Mukt Bharat Pakhwada with great enthusiasm and dedication on 25 June 2025, on campus and virtually. The programme was jointly organised by the Board of Student Development (BSD) and the NSS Unit, with Prof. Mahesh Waghmare (SDO, I2IT, Pune) and Dr. Sandeep Varpe, NSS Coordinator and CEO, I2IT, as coordinators. Around 120 students actively participated and took a solemn pledge to stay away from every form of substance abuse throughout their lives. They expressed a strong commitment to a healthy, responsible and addiction-free life and to helping build a Nasha Mukt Bharat. The initiative raised awareness among students about the harmful effects of drugs and the importance of making conscious lifestyle choices. The event concluded with a collective resolve to spread the message of a drug-free society, leaving participants determined to put their pledge into practice.
