Mr. Nitin Bhide, who is an acclaimed Thinking Craftsman, Passionate Programmer, Mentor, Consultant, Trouble Shooter in the ITS sector gave a lecture on Cache. He started with the concept of cache and buffer. He also explained the application of cache in software such as Proxy cache, Router cache , DNS cache, Query cache, CDNS etc. Later, he talked about page replacement techniques such as LRU,Random Eviction and FIFO. In Non-software, cache can be applied in the working memory of the brain, (Noguchi)filing system, kitchen etc.. He concluded with the various problems of cache such as Buffer bloat in router, DNS Cache poisoning attack, Cache side channel attack.

Project titled “Development of near real time regional TEC mapping at low-latitude Asean region using GNSS stations”, has been approved for funding under ASEAN- India Collaborative R&D scheme under ASEAN-India S&T Development Fund (AISTDF) to Dr. Rajesh Chowdhary Vattikuti, Coordinator of the CoE in Geoinformatics. It is an International Multilateral Research Project under Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.
In this project, I²IT will be the lead Project Investigator (PI) from India, along with two partners i.e., Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand ad Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
