I²IT students recently participated in a ‘Corporate Placement Workshop’ hosted on campus. The workshop was conducted by ASK Corporate and it gave the students a first-hand experience of selection processes conducted by top companies in the IT industry. The participants faced interviews (similar to those conducted by corporates) followed by written aptitude test, group discussion and finally Technical Quiz.
Excellent performers were awarded prizes; but the experience and knowledge earned was truly appreciated.

I²IT’s FESA (First Year Engineering Students Association) -Department of Applied Sciences and Engineering, organized a Poster Presentation on “Energy & Environment” on campus today. The event was intended to encourage students to come up with ideas for conserving the environment and integrate environmental aspects into their work as engineers and as citizens.
Dr. Subrata Ghoshal, Professor Emeritus-I²IT inaugurated the event. There were 3 prizes awarded on the basis of creativity, inventiveness and presentation.

Congratulations to Appar Thusoo – student of BE Electronics &Telecommunication for being selected to represent IEEE India Council & IEEE Pune Section for the upcoming SYWL Congress’18 (Student | Young Professionals | Women in Engineering | Life Member Congress hosted by IEEE R-10) scheduled from 29th August – 2nd September 2018 in Bali, Indonesia to present his work on “Section Connect Model”.
