The Guest Lecture on Yoga was conducted on October 28, 2023, at 4:00 PM in the Ground Floor, Academic Block, exclusively for ENTC students, with 50 participants in attendance. The session was led by Mrs. Pratibha Sandip Patil, an experienced Yoga Instructor, who guided participants through various yoga techniques aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being among women. I²IT Table Tennis Team secure 3rd Position at the Inter-collegiate Tournament
In the Savitribai Phule Pune University sponsored Inter-collegiate Tournament held recently at Pune, our I²IT Table Tennis Team won the third position. There were 26 teams that participated in this tournament. The team was made up of Gaurav Soni (B.E. E&TC), Ritikesh Bhatt (F.E. Comp), Omkar Menkudale (T.E. Information Technology) and Harshal Fegade (S.E. Computer)

Geo enabled Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a mainstay national initiative. The Center of Excellence in Geoinformatics at I²IT is an initiative aimed at promoting education, research and support services for Information Communication Technology (ICT) enablement of Geospatial applications using open source solutions. Inaugurated by Prof Venkatesh Raghavan, who is one of the founding members of Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo) the Center is focused to various facets of Geoinformation technology and systems in the form of research, outreach and consultancy. The research activities in the center are in the form of community development projects and sponsored projects by national & international funding agencies. Faculty members form all departments of the institute such as Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Technology are associated with the center for the promotion of interdisciplinary research for sustainable development.

I²IT First Year Engineering students visited Lavasa City as part of their Industrial Visit for Civil Engineering. They studied the engineering techniques implemented in construction of the Dam at Lavasa. The students also got an insight into the different brick structures used in construction. As part of their Quiz Time, they were also able to identify the type of bridges they crossed in the city.
