Sports Committee Trek 2025-26

The I2IT Sports Committee organised a trek to Ghoradeshwar Hill, Ghorawadi, Pune, in August 2025, coordinated by Dr. Ankita Dhone (staff) and Digvijay (student). The main objective was to strengthen communication and rapport among the newly formed Sports Committee members through a fitness-oriented adventure. A photoshoot of the newly constituted committee was also one of the key highlights of the day. In total, 17 people took part: 15 committee members, comprising 3 staff members and 12 students, along with 2 additional students who joined specifically to assist with the photoshoot. The outing gave the new committee a setting to know one another better. The trek began at 11:00 AM and concluded successfully at 2:00 PM, leaving participants energised and better connected as a team. The activity showed how a shared physical challenge in the outdoors can bring a new group closer together and build the trust that teamwork depends on.
