Guest Lecture on “Business Analytics and Business Intelligence”

Mr. Vijay Amritkar from Capgemini conducted the session on the specified topic. Power Bi Desktop, visualisations, relationship management, power BI data sources, DAX, Power BI services, Dashboard vs. reports, and automation were the subjects discussed in the session. Students were asked to submit an assignment on the basis of the topics learned after completing the session. This session was conducted to make students aware about BI tools used in industry. Faculty Development Program On “Recent Trends in Deep Learning and Its Usage in Cloud Computing”

This Faculty Development Program focuses on Deep Learning, a subset of Machine Learning in Artificial Intelligence (AI) that includes networks capable of learning unsupervised/supervised from unstructured or unlabeled data.

Mr. Yogesh Murumkar led this two-day FDP, which was entirely hands-on and conducted online. He also goes over topics like tensor flow and keras.

This FDP assisted faculty in meeting industry needs by completing various techniques and projects through hands-on sessions.

Student workshop on Certified Secure Computer User

Mr. Nandkishor Yadav was the speaker for the event. He covered how to maintain security of our own systems as well as mobiles. He also discussed about the web security. He also discussed how to prevent an individual’s data from being hacked and secure our future.

Guest Lecture on Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning

Big Data and Machine Learning are the technologies which are used nowadays in industry in vast manner. Mr Tushar Kute from miTu Skillologies has given focus on these two topics in his lecture. He discussed why Big data and Machine learning are used and also how Big data will be used for analysis.

Guest Lecture on Project Work & Management

Guest Lecture was conducted by Resource Person from IBM. He covered topics related to project work in different domains like IoT, Big Data, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence etc. from the topics speaker had covered students came to know the recent trends in industry and project ideas.

Augmentation course on Data Science with R Programming

Add on course on Data Science with R was 30 hours duration. It was fully hands on session. The speaker had covered topics related to Data Science and R language. He explained different algorithms related to the technology and demonstrated how to make analysis using R programming language. The course was attended by Third Year and Final Year Students from department of IT.

ACM Day & Technotsav

ACM Day and Technotsav is the event organized by IT department on completion of one year of student chapter. On the occasion of the anniversary of ACM Student Chapter department have organized two workshops on Android App Development and Game Development. The workshop of Game Development was conducted by Mr Akshay Deshmukh from miTu Skillologies. He demonstrated the topic with the tool splendor. The event was attended by the students from all the branches of the I²IT College.

WebMela

WebMela is the ACM State level competition for designing website. Students from different colleges have participated in the event. It was two round competition. Selected students of first round have to design website in the stipulated time period which was evaluated by the judges from industry.

Augmentation course on Responsive Web Development

Add on course on Responsive Web Development was 30 hours duration. It was fully hands on session. The speaker had covered how to build a web site using HTML, CSS. He also demonstrated how to make our website using Angular JS. The speaker also has explained Bootstrap. The course was attended by Second Year, Third Year and Final Year Students from department of IT.

Add on Course on Software Development for Android Mobile Devices

Add on course on Software Development for Android Mobile Devices was conducted from 13th Jan 2018 to 20th Jan 2018 for third year and final year student. Total 71 students have attended the course. Following was the objective of the course.

  • • Apprehend the various mobile platforms and unique challenges associated with the software development for mobile devices.
  • • Develop an ability to design and programme the smart phone applications for Android platform.

Intra College Technical Event-“Quizzards”

The Intra College level technical event “QUIZZARDS” organised by IT department under ACM Student Chapter and ITSA took place in the college premises on 10th September 2018 in the presence of Head of Department(Information Technology),Prof. Manjusha Amritkar  and teaching staff across all branches. The event was led and executed successfully under the guidance of Prof.Sneha Mehta.
