The Department of Information Technology organized a Guest Lecture on “Object-Oriented Programming – An Analytical Approach” for SE IT students.

The Guest Lecture was conducted through online mode (Google meet). A link was shared with all the students 2 days before the scheduled session. The guest resource person was heartily welcomed by Prof. Sarang Saoji. Mr. Sagar Deshmukh was the resource person for the Guest Lecture. He has a total of 13 years of industry experience. In his talk, he emphasized the importance of Object-Oriented Programming Principles and their implementation to model real-world problems. He also discussed how to apply appropriate design
patterns to provide object-oriented solutions. The resource person has cleared all doubts/queries asked by the students. The event ended with a vote of thanks.

As per the feedback received from the students, it was a very good learning experience; the guest lecture helped them in their understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Principles. Click here for more details

The Event Compose Camp gave a brief introduction to the beginners about Android Application
Development.

The topics which were covered are as follows:
● Installation process of Android Studio and necessary packages.
● Basics of Kotlin
● Android Studio File Structure
● Android Components
● UI Design
● Gradle
● Use of Emulator

Some Activities for students like creating a basic UI of Application and uploading it on LinkedIn

The Student Development Board and NSS jointly celebrated constitution day on the college campus. NSS Coordinator, Dr Sandeep Varpe and SDO, M S Waghmare, explained the importance of the Indian constitution and democracy. The students read the constitution preamble loudly and paid respect to the father of the Indian constitution Dr. B R Ambedkar. The maximum number of students participated and made it successful.
