The Board of Student Development and NSS of the International Institute of Information Technology (I²IT), Pune organized a guest lecture on  “Awareness about safety and security in Public Life”. Maximum students participated in the lecture. The introduction of the Guest was given by Prof M S Waghmare, The police inspector Sandeep Deshmukh gave practical thought about safety and security. Also, he threw light on different issues on social media, blackmailing on phones, fake accounts, cyber security, banking fraud, etc. The question and answer session was conducted in the last fifteen min. The Department of Information Technology organized a code club activity on “Introduction to Git and GitHub” on 29 July 2022. The session was conducted by GFG Student Chapter students for TE students. This activity is conducted under code club and GFG Student Chapter. This club is run by the students for the students. TE students have given introductory sessions on tools like Git and GitHub. They also guided about how to contribute to Open Source.

The objective of this session was to make students aware about Open-Source Contributions, Git and GitHub. Participated students were taught to push, pull, add, and merge their code on GitHub and the first 3 submissions were awarded with goodies sponsored by

The Quiz was conducted by I²IT ACM Student Chapter, in order to encourage the students to take part in various competitions. The Quiz was unique because it was held on a virtual platform called Quizizz. The Quiz had three rounds. The rules and regulations of the quiz were explained at the beginning. The three-round competition included Objective questions. The questions were based on domains like Logic building, aptitude testing, movies & web series, sports, and logo identification. Students were engaged for an hour.

After each round, there was an elimination criterion, based on which rounds were selected for the next round. Click here for more details
